The 305 tub chair was the forerunner of the Ercol easy chair range. It is still in great demand because it combines comfort with first-class finish at low price. The deep foam seat cushion rests on a conventional adzed Windsor seat.
This item has been in production since 1956.

Our thoughts: The seat is rather shallow – this could be alleviated by removing the back cushion or combining it with a footstool. The arms are a little low for Harriet but fine for Gareth. Great for people with shorter legs and longer arms. We love the upsweep of the arms which wrap around you. The back is too low for Gareth. Great for snuggling down for a snooze.
